I participated in the training offered by KutureCity this week. It educates about people who experience sensory overload.
- Assume competence
- Address directly
- Slow down/Allow time for processing
- Respect personal space
- Avoid repeating the same questions
- Offer tools like headphones and fidget spinners
- Ask others to back off
- Assist to move to a quiet space
